Sorry, I didn't had much time when I first submitted this earlier today. Dragging a .m2ts file on 1.7.9 do nothing at all as in 1.7.8 it's playing as expected. I just re-recorded a video with Camtasia that makes it easier to understand than the previous one as we now better see that I'm dragging the file "00000.m2ts" on 1.7.9 UI and that nothing happen.

I hope that make sense.

Sorry my English suck and as you can see my bug submitting as well.

I had understood the problem already. I'm suggesting that you try the latest beta version of MPC-HC because the problem might very well be fixed already.

Latest nightly behaves the same. This issue was also reported in the Doom9 topic yesterday.

Drag&drop from a disc acts as a "copy" operation. You can simulate this on a harddrive by holding Ctrl. MPC-HC adds the file to the playlist in this case.

In bc8b0b:

Use "link" drop effect if "move" is not available.

While it is possible to workaround that for drop target interface,
IDropTargetHelper still validates if action is valid for given files.
Therefore visual feedback wouldn't be consistent with action.

Fixes #5647
