#5416 closed Bug (fixed)

Remaining time in OSD vs. in Status bar

Reported by: LuanMax Owned by: Underground78
Priority: normal Milestone: 1.7.9
Component: User Interface Version: nightly, specify
Severity: normal Keywords: 1.7.8.152
Cc: Underground78 Evaluation:

Description

If I check "Remaining time" in Main Menu under "View" > "Renderer Settings" I get the time format of the Status bar with its context menu option "Remaining time" unchecked: hh:mm:ss / hh:mm:ss. Only if I check both I get an OSD with the remaining time format "- hh:mm:ss / hh:mm:ss".

Relating to the conflicting usage of term "Remaining time" I'm a bit confused here.

I've had a RemoteCmd command associated to "Remaining Time" command. Starting with v1.7.8.182 it became assigned to "OSD: Show File Name". So you've broken something here.

Right, I forgot that changing the IDs was a bad idea... I will probably revert this.

The problem will only happen once though. If you fix the problem from the Keys panel, it will stay this way (well until I revert it back...).

Yes but IMHO it's better to fix this once at your side though.

Offtopic: is it possible to track tickets that were created by other users? I haven't found a way to.

Do you mean that RemoteCmd's name is its ID?

comment:9 Changed 5 years ago by Underground78

The key settings are bound to an ID and I've changed those which messed up things.

comment:10 Changed 5 years ago by gcraistlin

Yes I understand this but I've supposed that command names is what we see in settings and IDs is what the internal logic works with.

In 26ea10:

Fix: Give "Display Current Time" its ID back to avoid messing the keys.
